This section of the Group is for anyone over 18 years of age who wishes to join in the fun.
All the Leaders, Helpers and Executive Committee members are automatically included but there are others who cannot, or do not wish to, support our regular activities but who join in whenever or wherever needed, for example organising camps or even just providing transport or cooking.

Members

Members make the Scout Promise and if they wear Uniform, can wear Badges including the World Badge. They are individually covered by Scout Insurance and can access all of the other benefits of membership.

Associate Members

Associate members do not make the Promise. They may wear Uniform, but not the badges. They are covered by Scout Insurance and receive all the other benefits of membership.

Occasional Helpers

Occasional Helpers are not Members of the Scout Association, although we welcome their help! We take out an additional Insurance policy to cover Helpers and their children, whilst involved in Scout activities.
